This module covers settling of single and multiple particles, terminal falling velocity, flow of fluids through beds of particles, fluidization, pneumatic transport, particle storage in hopper, complex flow, mixing and segregation, particle size reduction and agglomeration, and hazards in handling and utilization of particles.
