This module aims to introduce students the essential skills that modern engineers should possess, including technical and laboratory skills, data analysis, report writing, self-learning and information presentation skills.
Students are also introduced to the key concepts of C and its practical use for developing efficient, tested, quality code based on best practice. Additionally they will gain an appreciation of how data is stored, how speed and memory usage can be optimised and best implemented on differing processors.
