To introduce the creative methods and techniques commonly used in product design. Also to provide an understanding of the cognitive processes central to creative activity and provide students with a range of skills with which to inform, inspire and develop their creative thinking.

LO1 - Identify and record a range of information for use in creative design through the identification and application of appropriate drawings techniques. |

LO2 - Translate inspirational sketches on form into design ideas that meet a clearly defined design problem. |
