To provide students with the practical visual presentation skills needed for use in professional design practice. To introduce students to a range of presentation techniques and media including hand rendered/drawing techniques as well as computer based digital techniques.

LO1 - Identify, select and manipulate images using digital design software and apply basic rules of composition. |

LO2 - Construct accurate perspective views using measured perspective drawing techniques. |

LO3 - Illustrate a range of different materials using a number of mixed media drawing techniques. |

LO4 - Demonstrate the effects of the application of basic lighting conventions on a number of different 3-dimensional shapes. |
