The aim of this module is to study in detail a range of rapid product development tools and technologies including specific process principles and engineering applications. Topics covered include, Concurrent Engineering, Prototyping, Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Tooling, Additive Manufacturing, Reverse Engineering, Virtual Prototyping and Responsive Manufacturing.
